Kasetsart Integrated Tourism Management (KITMAN) is an international undergraduate programme offered by the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Faculty of Humanities, Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand. The programme is designed for students who are passionate about tourism, hospitality, aviation, events, service innovation, and global tourism management.

Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications:

  • Completion of upper secondary education (Grade 12 or equivalent)

  • International qualifications such as IGCSE, A-Level, IB, GED, or equivalent

  • Other qualifications approved by Kasetsart University

Applicants are expected to demonstrate:

  • English communication skills

  • Interest in tourism and service industries

  • Creativity, leadership, and intercultural mindset

  • Ability to work in dynamic and international environments

English Language Requirements

As KITMAN is an international English-medium programme, applicants should have sufficient English proficiency. The programme may consider one of the following:

  • IELTS at least 5.0

  • TOEFL (ITP) at least 542

  • TOEFL (iBT) at least 71

  • SAT Reading & Writing at least 529

  • KU-EPT at least 51

  • TOEIC at least 650

Applicants without standardized test scores may be considered through the programme interview process and institutional assessment, subject to university regulations.

Admission through Thai University Central Admission System (TCAS)

The Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Tourism Management (KITMAN) participates in the Thai University Central Admission System (TCAS), administered by the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT). TCAS is the national university admission system designed to provide transparent and standardized admission procedures for students across Thailand.

Applicants may apply to the KITMAN programme through the official TCAS rounds announced each academic year by Kasetsart University and the national TCAS system.

TCAS Admission Rounds

The admission process may consist of several rounds depending on the university announcement for each academic year, including:

Round 1: Portfolio

This round focuses on students’ achievements, extracurricular activities, leadership, creativity, volunteer experiences, and other outstanding capabilities related to tourism, hospitality, service industries, or international learning environments.

Applicants may be required to submit:

  • Academic transcripts

  • Portfolio

  • Certificates and achievements

  • Statement of purpose or personal essay

  • English proficiency evidence

Selected applicants may be invited for an interview.

Round 2: Quota

This round may be designated for students from specific schools, regions, partnership networks, or special projects in accordance with university policies. Selected applicants may be invited for an interview.

Round 3: Admission

Admission is primarily based on national standardized examination results and criteria determined by Kasetsart University and the programme committee. Selected applicants may be invited for an interview.

Round 4: Direct Admission

This round allows the programme to directly select qualified applicants based on programme-specific criteria, interviews, and academic qualifications. The seats are usually limited during this round.

  • Semester 1 – 7: 63,000 THB per semester
  • Semester 8: 47,000 THB
  • Summer Semester (if registered): 27,000 THB

Student Loan Fund (SLF) – Thailand

The Student Loan Fund (SLF), commonly known as "Kor Yor Sor", is a Thai government agency that provides educational loans to students from secondary school through university level. The objective is to increase access to education and support human capital development in Thailand.

Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Tourism Management (KITMAN) may be eligible to apply for SLF support if they meet the criteria established by the fund and Kasetsart University. Applications are normally coordinated through the university's student affairs or financial aid office each academic year. It is advisable for prospective students to prepare household income documents and application materials in advance.

Typical eligibility includes:

  • Family income not exceeding THB 360,000 per year
  • First-time borrowers generally not older than 30 years old
